I visited the Kriskindelmarkt every afternoon and could see it from my window overlooking the Messeplatz. The old woman with whom I lived told stories of Allied war planes flying over the Platz in the last days of WWII. When I visited Vienna in 1990, the building was still there, and the family name "Schultze" was still on the door but no one was home. The U Bahn had not yet been built. <br />Does anyone know if the building (address Getriedemark 6) is still standing? From Google Maps it appears that it is now an Apple store.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
